These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement ("Agreement") between:
(a) you, the end-user, and
(b) PokerBot.com which is a DBA for HixoxiH Software.
1. Applicability of Terms and Conditions.
By purchasing a registered name, you the end-user,
represent and warrant that you fully understand
all of the following terms and conditions.
You are buying an alphabetic name from pokerbot.com. The registered name is considered to be a piece of property owned by you the purchaser.
The purchase cost per name shall be $20 USD.
All names must be unique. Name registration is not case-sensitive. This means that if the name "Adam" is already registered then you cannot register the name "adam" or "ADAM" or any case variation of that specific word. You cannot register an already existing name. If you want ownership of a given name then your only recourse is to contact the present owner and negotiate terms with them.
The purchased name itself will be public information. The list of currently registered names can and probably will be posted on the pokerbot.com public website thus allowing any internet user to see the current list of names. This must be done in order to allow those wanting to register a given name the ability to know which names are already registered such that they can avoid requesting or paying for a name already owned.
The current pokerbot.com policy will be to protect the real world identity of the owner for any given registered name. If you buy a name then you have every expectation that no other name owners will be able to know who you are unless you reveal that to them. And by this same policy you are hereby informed that you cannot know the real world identity of any name owner unless that owner chooses to reveal that information to you. All requests for owner information will be summarily rejected.
Registered names are fully transferrable to another owner by any terms agreeable between the two owners. Pokerbot.com reserves the right to charge a title transfer fee but for now there will be no charge to transfer name ownership from yourself to another.
Pokerbot.com reserves the right to refuse to sell a name for pretty much any reason we feel is important. Some of the reasons might include issues involving: profanity, trademarks, length, characters, spaces, capitalization, infringements, numbers, etc. You are hereby advised to aquire approval for a desired name before you submit payment; if you pay for a name and we reject that name then we will refund your money but you will pay any transaction fees involved.
The intended purpose of buying a registered name from pokerbot.com is to allow you to use that name to participate in officially sanctioned pokerbot.com events including but not limited to The Pokerbot World Championship. The name registration process also provides a sane way to manage contentions for the use and ownership of any given name.
You fully understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and as modified and/or amended from time to time. PokerBot.com reserves the right to modify and amend this Agreement at any time with or without notice to the end-user. Such amendments will become effective immediately upon being posted at PokerBot.com. It is your sole responsibility to review this Agreement and amendments hereto regularly. The terms and conditions contained herein represent the complete and final agreement between you and PokerBot.com and supersede any and all prior agreements, representations or statements made by PokerBot.com.
