This Privacy Policy applies to the PokerBot World Championship (PBWC) website domains:

PURPOSE
This Privacy Policy discloses how we collect, protect, use and share information gathered about you while your are browsing our website and/or involved with the 2007 PBWC Cruise.

PBWC WEBSITE VISITORS
A casual visitor is any person browsing this site for information about the PBWC. At no time is any information collected about casual visitors other than what every web server can see - which is your IP address and browser type. This information is stored by the webserver for later use in reports about which regions of the internet are interested in the PBWC. It's not possible for you to prevent a webserver from seeing your IP address because you cannot use the internet without an IP address and so you give up the right to keep that private when you use the internet. If you are offended by the thought of a web server knowing your IP address and/or browser type then you need to stop using the internet right now. If you don't know what an IP address is - google it.

PBWC PLAYER NAME REGISTRATION
A Player name is a nickname to be used by you while playing at a live digital poker table. If you decide to become a member of the PBWC by purchasing a registered player name HERE then you need to be sure and read the registration agreement HERE before doing so. It contains further information about the privacy of your registered player name and the privacy of your personal name and information as owner of that player name. The list of registered PBWC player names is HERE. Your purchased player name will appear in that list. Please note that a player name is not the same as a personal name. A player name is a nickname to be used at the live digital poker tables. Your personal name is your real world name.

PBWC CRUISE REGISTRATION
If you decide to attend the 2007 PBWC cruise then you will work with the PBWC travel agent directly; we do not transfer any personal name information from this website to either the PBWC travel agent and/or Carnival Cruise lines. If you want to see all of the required personal information that you must communicate to the PBWC travel agent then you can read about that HERE. Your cruise registration information is not stored on any PBWC website. However, when you do register for the cruise the PBWC travel agent will inform us of your intent to participate.

PBWC TROPHY WINNERS
If you win one of the 3 PBWC trophy rings then your player name and real name and your address will be communicated to the PBWC jeweler HERE along with your desired ring size so that your trophy ring can be mailed to you. The outside of your ring will be engraved with your world championship title. The inside will be engraved with your player name and a serial number.

THE MEDIA
The press will have access to you on the cruise. They will be allowed into the player room HERE where the events will take place. They will be allowed to photograph you and video you in a non-invasive manner while you play poker. We will not give your personal information to the media for any reason. If you choose to grant them an interview then you are responsible for whatever information you reveal to them.

NECK TAGS
All those participating in the 2007 PBWC Cruise will have a neck tag for ID purposes. The front of the tag will have a photo of you and your player name.

POLICY CHANGES
The current privacy policy is not expected to change before the cruise. However, you are advised to periodically check this page. If there are any substantial changes we will notify you via the email address you used to register your player name.
